NICE TO MEET YOU
I'm Kru Scott Bartlett
Hello! I'm a martial arts instructor with 24 years of training and teaching experience based in Sudbury, Ontario. Throughout my journey, martial arts has been a source of support and strength, especially during the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond. I’m passionate about sharing the benefits of martial arts with my students, helping them build confidence and resilience in their lives. I look forward to guiding you on your martial arts journey!

My Story
For ten incredible years, I owned and operated a my own school, sharing my love for martial arts with others. However, when COVID-19 hit, I faced overwhelming challenges and had to close my doors. This period was tough, and I struggled with depression as I navigated life post-pandemic. Despite these hardships, I realized that sometimes the universe guides us to where we need to be. After much reflection, I traveled to Thailand, where I trained intensively with Muay Boran and Muay Thai masters—eight hours a day, five days a week.
This transformative experience led me to earn the KRU (Teacher) Khan 12 Level with the Kru Muaythai Association. One of the many highlights was being approached by KMA President, Master Woody, who invited me to become their Canadian Representative, an opportunity I gladly accepted. Life has turned around in unexpected ways, reminding me that sometimes we must close one door for another to open. I invite you to join me on this journey through our courses, where together we can explore the rich world of martial arts!
Why I Do It
Life has shown me that martial arts is more than just a practice; it’s about people—connecting with others, building relationships, and supporting each other in our growth. I enjoy creating an environment where students can learn, connect, and discover inner strength. Whether you’re looking to improve your skills, gain confidence, or simply find a healthy outlet, I am here to help on your path.
